Penn State York baseball players join team to take on Team Israel Penn State York baseball players join team against Team Israel


The current and former Penn State York baseball players will be among the Susquehanna Valley Stars who take on Team Israel in a pre-Olympic competition on July 17 at noon at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, Pa. The Israel team are expected to compete in the Tokyo Olympics.

Jeff Barkdoll, current Penn State York athletic director and former baseball head coach, will lead the Susquehanna Valley Stars in a one-day, one-game engagement against Team Israel.

Brendan Delridge, Penn State alumnus, 2021 / York, PA; Brady Lefever, 2019 / Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania; and Tyler Page, 2013 / Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania; participating as will current Penn State York baseball players Shane Hulbert, Bowie, MD; Carter Williams, Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania; and JP Dyson, Hanover, Pennsylvania.

Other participating Penn State athletes are Steele Fekette, Minersville Pennsylvania; and Jake Leininger, Pine Grove, Pa., of Penn State Schuylkill; and Eric Nothstein, Palmerton, Pennsylvania; Nick Ciszak, Kunkletown, Pennsylvania; and Colin Stauffer, West Hazleton, Pa., of Penn State Hazleton.

Former York Revolution stars Jason Aspito and Darly Harang will also add their services to face Team Israel, as will former York Revolution coach Sam Snider.
